About the concert

After 20+ years on stage, Paulina Przybysz returns to the jazz standards she has been humming since childhood. “I finally stopped saying ‘someday I’ll record a jazz album’. It had to happen,” she writes.
The album was made with musicians from the new wave of Polish jazz: Marek Pędziwiatr (piano/synths), Tymon Kosma (vibraphone), Wiktoria Jakubowska (drums), Olaf Węgier (tenor sax) and Krzysztof Baranowski (double bass).
The concert at MONK will be a fusion of hip-hop and mainstream jazz – respectful of the classics, but without genre reverence.

We don’t take table reservations and seating is limited, so we recommend arriving early to get a seat.
