About the concert

‍

Omar is one of the most important figures of the British alternative scene, also known as the godfather of British neo-soul. This November he performs in Gdańsk with the jazz quartet QCBA.

Launched over a decade ago, the joint project combines Omar’s distinctive voice and sensibility with QCBA’s punchy horn section and funky rhythm section. With no digital embellishments, the musicians play live, organic music built on improvisation, interaction and rhythm.
