About the concert
Nubiyan Twist take the stage with a new line-up and fresh material – and once again they’ll do it their way: precisely but expansively blending jazz with afrobeat, soul, elements of hip-hop and club energy.
They have collaborated with the likes of Nile Rodgers, Tony Allen, Seun Kuti and Fatoumata Diawara, and they continue to confidently walk their own path, bridging cultures, generations and genres through music that unites and builds a universal sense of community.
Formed in Leeds and now one of the most respected live bands in the UK, Nubiyan Twist have earned MOBO and AIM award nominations, sold-out tours and praise from NPR, Rolling Stone, Jazzwise and Bandcamp Daily.
