Cinematic soul and heartfelt jazz, driven by an African pulse and classic British groove
Fresh from the release of his seventh album, “I See My Light” (11/09/2026), Myles Sanko comes to Scena MONK – a vocalist who blends soul, modern jazz and hip-hop with remarkable grace. The new record is a powerful follow-up to 2024’s acclaimed “Let It Unfold”. In the artist’s own words, it is a deeply personal story about searching for inner strength, a source of wellbeing and one’s own path in life.
Born in Accra, with Ghanaian and French roots, Sanko has consistently released his music on his own label, 213 Music – from his debut “Born In Black & White”, through the breakthrough “Just Being Me”, to the present day. This full creative control lets him draw freely on his African heritage, creating an authentic sound that has taken him from the street clubs of Cambridge to Europe’s biggest festivals.
