[SOLD OUT] OMASTA

In Poland, Marc Ribot is best known for his work with Tom Waits. Since the famous Rain Dogs album he has led the guitar section in Waits’s band, and his unique playing – unpredictable and rawly expressive – defined the band’s musical style for decades.

The enigmatic guitarist has also released six very diverse solo guitar albums. Silent Movies was described by the Village Voice as “an almost masterpiece full of melancholy” (with melancholy, that “almost” only completes the mastery ;)) and made many best-of-2010 lists, including the LA Times, winning widespread acclaim from listeners and critics.

His solo live shows are unpredictable: they may draw on this whole body of work or break away from it entirely, creating a sonic matrix of memory, improvisation, zeitgeist, extraterrestrial radio waves and much more. One thing never changes, though: they always keep the listener on the edge of their seat.
