As The New York Times put it, Kurt Rosenwinkel can say more in a few chords than most guitarists manage to express in their entire careers. Since his debut on the New York scene in 1991, the American multi-instrumentalist has steadily built his reputation, combining virtuoso technique with a unique, uncompromising artistic voice.

His legacy includes 15 studio albums as a leader, which have become a point of reference for generations of musicians worldwide – a model of modern thinking about what else jazz can do.
