About the concert

One of the most interesting and recognisable projects from the Tricity – Hatti Vatti’s first concert at Scena MONK. In 2024 Hatti Vatti, aka Piotr Kaliński, returned with a revolution of sound on the album “Zeit”.

The nine-track LP, recorded with Rafał Dutkiewicz (Skalpel Big Band) on drums, Paweł Stachowiak (EABS, Błoto, Siema Ziemia) on bass and Piotr Chęcki (Jaskułke Sextet, Kamil Piotrowicz Sextet) on saxophone, is a collection of eclectic compositions that defy genre classification, with echoes of the Japanese ambient scene, krautrock, jazz and dubby UK bass.

Although Zeit means Time, we believe that, thanks to the quartet’s music, this evening we really will break free of the pigeonholes and labels of classical physics.
