About the concert
CONCERT SOLD OUT! TICKETS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR.
If you’ve ever seen the cult classic “Back to the Future”, good – because in March you’ll feel like Marty McFly. Cinnamon Gum, the solo project of Maciej Milewski (MaJLo), takes you on a nostalgic journey to the golden era of ’70s soul and funk.
And you won’t want to come back.
Cinnamon Gum’s music draws heavily on classics such as Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye, but in a modern form, with gospel backing vocals and improvised solos. Expect a retro aesthetic, shifting tempos and loud, raw stage energy that makes every concert different from the studio recording.
“Reality, but carefully crafted; history, but constantly being created in the present. Cinnamon Gum is full of contrasts. The only real thing is that it was made for pleasure – mine and yours,” writes The Cinnamon Guy about his project.
