About the concert

‍

In an age of cacophony, the Bremer/McCoy duo, against all odds, creates its own hushed cosmos – and invites you in.

“Kosmos” is – nomen omen – the title of their sixth album. How to describe it?

A manifesto without exclamation marks or capital letters.

An attempt to capture and broadcast from their own world.

Pieces that matured within the artists over 15 years, alongside compositions born on impulse in 15 minutes.

Their way of improvising is unique: they don’t improvise solos, but entire pieces. They don’t play in a hurry, but delve into the story. They don’t know at the start what story they’ll create – they’ll discover it together with you at Scena MONK.

“People have always played music. We sat around fires and sang. We danced. When we play together or listen together, we communicate without words. And right now it’s very important to remember that communication, because many feel we live in difficult times. Everyone enjoys a walk in the forest, and I believe everyone feels a fundamental joy and calm when they experience something beautiful,” says Morten McCoy.
