HIP HOP SPECIAL — BŁOTO’S RESIDENCY AT MONK.

Błoto’s brilliantly received, instantly sold-out sets for “Dilla Month”, under the banner We Remember J Dilla, inspired the band to expand its hip-hop series – after all, why wait a whole year for another dose of the music of the much-missed Jay Dee? The new project – HIP HOP SPECIAL – goes a step further. This time the Błoto quartet won’t limit itself to one artist, but will dive into the sounds of various producers who defined the sound of their regions. No easy task, but rest assured – Latarnik, Wuja HZG, Cancer G and OlafSax have groove in their blood and could earn a PhD in drums and bass in rap. And so the special sets HIP HOP SPECIAL: NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES were born.

15/01/2026 Second stop? The West Coast!

The next day we head west. If you love Dr. Dre’s productions and the music of The Pharcyde, Cypress Hill, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg or classic G-funk – without forgetting its roots in N.W.A. and Egyptian Lover – this evening is tailor-made for you.
What more could you want when the specialists in reviving and exploring hip-hop beats take on the subject?
